Refunds and Returns

At DIFM online, we work hard to ensure our products are the highest quality. If you do experience a fault or defect with a product that is still within the warranty period, please use either the contact form or email us at enquiries@doitformeonline.com.

Should your goods fail to be of an acceptable quality due to a major failure you are entitled to a refund or replacement. If the failure is not major, you are also entitled to a repair or replacement within a reasonable timeframe or a refund if a repair or replacement is not feasible.

Product bundles that include installation are covered by “in home” warranty. This is generally a minimum of 18 months but often can be up to 3 years. If you are unsure of the warranty period of your product, consult the product page or your warranty information booklet included with the product. If your product or any aspect of the install are faulty or develop a fault within the warranty period, please contact us here immediately so that we can arrange for a qualified serviceman to attend and repair your product or installation.

As we are an online business, we will always email your receipt to the nominated email address. If you do not receive your receipt within 24 hours of purchase please contact us so that we can send it via another means. Your receipt is your proof of purchase and contains information to be provided to DIFM Online if you are to proceed with a warranty claim or refund request.

 

What do I do if my product is faulty?

At DIFM online, we work hard to ensure our products are the highest quality. If you do experience a fault or defect with a product that is still within the warranty period, please use either the contact form here or email us at enquiries@doitformeonline.com.

All of our products are covered by a minimum 30 day consumer guarantee. Due to the nature of the variety of products we offer, please see the specific warranty details on the individual product page. These details are also included with your physical product.

 

What if the product isn’t faulty but I have changed my mind?

Before you decide to return a product, please contact us so that we may issue you with a return reference number and provide you with your nearest returns address.

We here at DIFM Online understand that you’re only human and sometimes you would like to change your mind. If you have changed your mind and your product has not yet been shipped, please contact us immediately.

If your product has arrived and you have changed your mind, please contact us here. These returns will be reviewed on a case by case basis, but please note the following:

  • Item must still be sealed in original packaging or be able to be re-sealed in original packaging with no damage to box.
  • Item must be brand new and unused.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to return the item either by post or in person to our nearest distribution in their city/state.

“Supply and Install” bundles are not covered by our “change of mind” policy.
